Step 1 — Choose the Sheet Material

Material availability is confirmed with the formal quote.
These are planning dimensions and do not confirm inventory. Individual shear strokes are limited to a 96" blade span.
A drop is listed as usable when both sides meet this minimum.
Leave at 1 unless TVB confirms stack shearing is appropriate.

Step 2 — Enter the Finished Sheet Cut List

Enter quantity first, then finished width and length. Measurements may be decimals or fractions, such as 36.5, 36-1/2, or 36 1/2.

Step 3 — Review the Recommended Shear Layout

Planning recommendation: This calculator uses a practical guillotine-nesting optimizer for straight shear cuts and limits every recommended stroke to a 96" maximum blade span. Review the final shop cut ticket before production. Stacking, edge condition, squareness, tolerance, grain, and protective-film requirements may change the production sequence.
